I fall in love with Richard Ardagh ’s posters during a lovely sunny sunday walk in Nelly Duff Gallery on Columbia Road.
Graduated of St Martins in 2003, Richard Ardagh opened his own London-based studio in 2006.
One of his latest work is a collaboration with Graham Bignell (New North Press Letterpress Studio) to give us a wonderful typographic print serie.
They pay tribute to traditional popular culture using famous nursery rhyme “Pop! Goes the Weasel”. Basically a dance, this lyrics rhyme was shouted to accentuate the dance rhythm. Traditionals values have to be reminded and shared to don’t forget where we come.
