Cristian Ordoñez set up his personal studio called H23 in Toronto developing a wide range of different projects. Curv and Blast Radius, two projects in progress, present a typographic work very light playing with weight and balance dimensions.
Curv is a personal project worked in collaboration with graphic designer Carolina Figueroa. Blast Radius is an interior graphic project for the eponymous Toronto offices. The design is based on the idea of steps, paths and processes that the office takes to resolve projects, the relationship between the different offices of Blast Radius through North America and Europe. A typographic exploration was done, illustrating several characters to use messages as forms and as part of the design. Other messages are printed in white againts a white wall, as a play process of discovering to reveal information, as the user interacts and gets involved in the complete design.
