Martin Adolfsson is a swedish photographer based in New-York for 2007. His own project Social Uniforms reflects the correlation between our social condition and how we dress.
Together with a group of assistants I set up a portable studio in New Yorks Union Square. During a entire Sunday in November 07 me and my crew asked every person that passed by if I could take his or her portrait. By the end of the day I had photographed 65 people in the studio. By depicting them anonymously, I want the viewer to focus in the various social uniforms that we all wear, whether we are conscious of it or not.
