Natsko Seki is a japanese illustrator living in London. Inspired by antique and vintage culture, her work is truly contemporary.
I saw Natsko Seki’s work during my visit to the Pick Me Up Art Fair and was impressed by Aerial Ballet.
The relevance of this piece lies in the movement research. The composition is arranged in a spiral-shape and to reinforce the movement, Natsko reverses dimensions.
Like in Georges Seurat’s “Le Cirque”, your eyes make an unending travel linking everything together.
Pick Me Up is the first Contemporary Graphic Art Fair running in London until Monday 3 May.
