Eric Hurtgen is a designer living and working in Charlotte, NC. He is a founding member of the Adah Design Collective with designer David Stanfield and a contributor of the music and typography blog, Rock That Font. As an artist, his artwork has been featured in galleries across the Southeastern U.S.

All of the photographs were taken in the Southeastern United States over the last year. I heavily layer my pieces and make copies of copies in order to layer various design elements onto the photographic prints themselves.
I’m really interested in sunlight and its affect on various surfaces and how that changes in various times of day and times of year.
