Adam Batchelor is a young illustrator presenting an amazing portfolio reflecting a process and a concern about the relationship between human and the mass culture imagery. Adam is graduated from Norwich College of Arts in 2009 where is living and working. He exhibited his work several times this year between Norwich and London and some commissioned work will be published soon in books and magazines.
My work is about the human relationship with its culture. Currently I like to explore a juxtaposition between pop consumer imagery and people from the real world, mostly from developing countries. I draw inspiration from consumerism, object hood and the developing world to look at how western culture can influence and out shadow other cultures.
