Hors-Champ is the new work directed by Romain Lenancker for the issue 4 of Pilot Magazine for which he worked in collaboration with Alexis Raimbault for the photography.
‘Hors-Champ’ presents a series of pictures and a short video that we are very pleased to feature.
The work on lights, textures and composition are well realised creating suspense, strain and expectancy directly addressed towards the viewer. Indeed, the series is a metaphor. The subjects are shot in close-ups allowing the audience to imagine what is happening ‘hors-champ’.
The narration takes place in the viewer’s imagination remaining obviously purely individual and subjective. As a result, all the shots are linked together through the viewer’s perspective.
