Johanna Bonnevier

Johanna Bonnevier is a swedish graphic designer living and working in London. After studying at Camberwell and St Martins College of Arts, she is been working professionally for eight years now in different fields, mainly architecture, culture and fashion.

The Bartlett School of Architecture Annual Catalogue has been redesigned by Johanna Bonnevier whom along with Johan Berglund (Architect and owner of 42architects, and also tutor at the Bartlett) undertook the massive task of designing this 200 page catalogue in less than two weeks. The re-design was based on the initial brief from the Bartlett: to give this years catalogue a more contemporary feel and to make it less dense than previous years, whilst also giving more space and flexibility for text and image.
Bonnevier’s design is straightforward with a hint of delicacy. For example, I really like how she twists the simple ‘15’ on one of the Wallpaper’s cover (recently 15 covers have been commissioned to celebrate the 15th Anniversary of the magazine).
