Le Carnet Noir is the result of thoughts and notebook’s ideas that Nacho Ormachea collected while sipping a latte in Parisian’s cafés.
Ormachea uses photocollage in the project Le Carnet Noir which presents bodies as 2D in a 3D world. The collage onto the body insists about a flat perception of the world coming from the overwhelmed imagery world we are living in. Ormachea, conscious or not, talks about the body as being wrapped up by images.
